Product Features
An elliptical shaped, curved arm protruding 6 feet in front and 2 feet behind the pole. As an option the arm may be 2 feet longer to protrude 8 feet into the roadway for superior photometrics.
A cast aluminum, trapezoid battery box with rounded corners which can house one or two 80 Ah or 100 Ah batteries laying on top of each other on their side. The box wraps partially around the pole for an “invisible connection.”
One to four PV panels mounted centrally over the pole at the ideal angle for the location.
The universal mounting bracket allows for the solar panel(s) to be mounted at either 45 degrees or 15 degrees. In this way, the unit optimizes the capture of the sun’s energy for a particular geographic location.
Solar panels are protected with aluminum panel pans.
Shaded by the solar panels, the rugged, vented aluminum battery box holds battery(s), controller and all interconnects.
Entire structural assembly is specifically engineered for rugged environment and usage.
Sturdy corrosive resistant aluminum and stainless steel hardware throughout.
Typical minumum five (5) day battery reserve in case of inclement weather.
Maintenance free gel batteries.
Standard models include either a Cobrahead or Shoebox fixture – DSC (cut off) lens or prismatic (dome) lens.
